I have never been one of those girls who spend every saturday shopping for clothes. The occasional impulse purchase, that´s what´s been keeping me dressed.

On the other hand, I have never been one for throwing things away - no matter what. Clothes, books, odd tourist souvenirs - they all sort of accumulate.

A large pile of clothes is all very well and good, but since the autumn has arrived - complete with rain and wind and cold (not that the summer has been all that different) - I needed to dig out my autumn clothes and put my summer clothes into the back of the closet.

So today, just for the Hell of it, I took on the challenge of sorting my blouses and shirts and t-shirts - a huge pile of clothes, some of it several years old, some of it almost literally worn to pieces, some of it simply no longer my size. Next to me was a large black plastic bag and one by one old t-shirts with pictures of questionable aesthetic value and worn-out blouses and numerous other items acquired over the years found their way into it.

At the end, what was left was a small pile of t-shirts and a pair of even smaller piles of autumn and winter blouses and cardigans - and when I say small, I do mean small. Seems like this girl is going to have to go shopping for clothes, whether she wants to or not...

What, my spinks? They are from a series from Animal Planet called The Future is Wild (http://animal.discovery.com/convergence/futureiswild/futureiswild.html)- it showed a number of animals that scientist thought might some day evolve. The spinks are a species of mole-like birds with a social structure similar to certain insects - and they are hopelessly cute, even though my icon hardly does them justice.

Spinks. Of course, how silly of me not to recognize them :P

I've never heard of those before but they do look kinda neat. Front "arms" are a little creepy though.

Creepy? They´re just showel arms...

If you want creepy, you should see the Megasquid, or the Slithersucker, or the... But Spinks, they are cute, trust me.
