The 11th out of 13 episode's of season two Almighty Johnsons and now there are Maori gods, competing prophesies, and a creepy Norwegian woman who seems to be some form of Christian crusader/god hunter/bad guy?. Keeping my fingers crossed for a season three already.
Also, I found out that one of the Danish television channels is apparently making a young adult paranormal romance style series. Called Heartless. Because apparently Danish series need English titles *rolls eyes* There's a pilot clip of it and it looks, well - most of the characters seem like types we've seen before, sadly the creepy-protective big brother comes across as a tad too sleazy for my taste, and it definitely seems to be planning on including lots of sex. Also, the fact that the setting is a boarding school with uniforms and everything, well - it doesn't feel very, well, very Danish (I suspect it's aiming for the international market, but still, even as boarding school it looks less Herlufsholm and more St. Trinian's (if St. Trinian's was co-ed and more goth)). Anyway, I dunno - if it gets made, I'll probably try it - I mean, so far the Danish amount of genre television is - well, meagre and often disappointing, but when it's good, it's great. It's just, this doesn't really look that promising, and quite frankly, Danish television has some pretty talented people and Denmark can make very good television - which will make it even more disappointing if this sucks (and it being done by the people behind 2900 Happiness is not raising my expectations, I'm afraid).
Oh well, let's hope it works out (and that they either find another actor for the brother or at least gives the guy a different hairstyle - I don't know why, but in my mind I associate it with the sleazy Tobey-Maguire-as-evil-Spiderman from Spiderman 3, and that is not a good thing...)
