So, anybody want to make a bet about how long it will take for the probably-somewhat-historically-questionable-in-several-ways Ragnar/Athelstan fanfic to come along My mistake, apparently people have been writing that since last week, at least on AO3 - what is it with fandom and this habit of writing ahead of canon, I wonder?

Anyway, what I've seen so far is pretty meh - but then, Athelstan only appeared at the end of the second episode and most of what there is so far was written before that, so. Maybe the good stuff will come later, yes?
