14 - that'd be For Want of A (Thor/Buffy the vampire slayer)

Three things I currently like about it:

1. Thor taking college classes.
2. Tony cooing at Mjölnir, making Thor jealous.
3. The overall idea of it - that without Loki's actions in the Thor movie, there really isn't any decent opportunities for Thor to prove himself worthy of anything.

42 - Logical Inevitability (PotC/Highlander/Doctor Who)

1. James. James and his stupid honour.
2. The hug.
3. The fact that I started with a fic with a reasonable happy ending and then went and wrote this. I wonder why I always want happy endings and fluff, and then turn around and write this sort of thing?

Anyway, 62 - Home Is the Sailor, Home From the Sea

1. Marie Grubbe. The Marie Grubbe I wrote in the story, I mean - I remember I had the biography shortly before writing the story and I liked her, the historical her (on the other hand, I've so far been annoyed with both Blicher, Andersen and Jacobsen as far as the fictional her goes - and have yet to dare reading Juliane Preisler's Kysse-Marie, partly because the title annoys me). She must have been an awesome woman, Marie Grubbe.
2. The original Danish version - I really like the way that one turned out.
3. Jack being the grandson of a merman. Of course.

It's one of your stories that I still think about, somehow? I can't explain it, something about it just really caught my imagination, and I can't seem to forget it again :)

I don't think there was any special rules about the numbers - personally, I used a random numbers generator a couple of times (and then it told me 42...) Anyway, I mostly asked because I remember you commenting on the story once upon a time and it seemed a bit of a coincidence... :-)

I guess if you just pick a random number you get the bonus of a fic link when the author replies :)
