So far, the most interesting bit I've encountered is someone wondering what will happen when (and you know it is a when, not an if) someone submits a fanfic to Amazon and they publish it, only for it to turn out to be a case of plagiarism against another fanfic writer...
Well either way Amazon probably won't care. So if the plagiarized writer can prove beyond a sliver of doubt that they wrote it first, Amazon may ban the plagiarizer, DELETE THE CONTENT OFF PEOPLE'S KINDLES like they've done before, and retain all money from the sales anyway. Or they can just decide that there's no proof and cary on their merry way, and unless that plagiarized writer manages to get a WHOLE lot of people behind her, probably nothing will come of it.
Oi! You forgot to mention that they also will benefit hugely from the free PR a lawsuit or ten will give their grabby f-ing site: it's what you call a win-win in corporate land. Bet their board love their development department right now. *grumps*

So yeah, right now it's pretty much a toss-up between people who are pointing and laughing and people who are gearing up for a good rant.
