So, apparently both Fox and Marvel are intending to use Quicksilver in upcoming movies and are apparently throwing the media mogul version of hissy fits at each other about it. Though honestly, what did they expect, considering how tangled the Marvelverse is?

Also, completely unrelated: surely the best response to the Amazon thing is to write lots and lots of fic that breaks as many of their content restrictions as possible? Maybe we can do scorecards? (If only any of their worlds were anything remotely interesting...)

If you think about it, though, content restriction number one is that you can only write in their licensed canons... so basically, people should be writing <5000 word, crossover porn fic with lots of product placements? Sounds like an excuse for a ficfest...

Apparently, Amazon has an interesting definition of porn - apparently, consenting adults =/= porn... This does not bode well for our imagined ficfest :-(

Hmmm… I'm not sure that definition holds up to scrutiny, within Amazon and outside. But well, that does kind kill our proposed fest idea.
