Went with my parents to see the Blue Planet. Which is - well, the aquarium is lovely and interesting and I would have loved to stroll slowly along and enjoy it, but honestly? We really shouldn't have gone during the school holiday. Crowded is - an understatement. Which translates as: we wandered around and saw the aquariums - as best we could, considering the wall of people in front of each of them. We wandered through the shark aquarium tunnel - which had some spectacular views of the surviving hammerhead sharks and rays and some glass floor that was basically impossible to see because there was literally not an inch to spare for people in the bloody tunnel. And then we got the hell out of Dodge, didn't even stick around to watch the piranhas or the sea lions get fed or anything, because there was just too many people...
Anyway, drove along Strandvejen, stopping at a very nice ice cream place at Skodsborg, and then there was barbecue at my parents'. Which was lovely, but I'm still pretty disappointed about the Blue Planet. (Yes, yes - it's my own fault. Never on a school holiday, I know. *sighs*) :-(
