True, but on the other hand, it would mean being spared the soulcrushing, agonising experience of watching the hit count a story that you knew even as you posted it would probably not be that popular* climb slowly, slowly, oh so slowly upwards...
*It being a crossover between two relatively small fandoms with possibly only me as overlap and not even shipping the big fandom pairing - in fact, the tags, while accurate, might be said to not be able to help but give the wrong impression and honestly, tagging sort of sucks if you have a twist ending anyway. Ah well...
