Apparently, the Danish television premiere of Orphan Black is on my birthday.
In other news, my Yuletide assignment seems - workable. As in, I already have an idea I think might work for it. Hmmm.

Mine is workable too. Of course, I matched on the one I least wanted to write, but them's the odds. I'm still looking forward to it. No ideas yet thought.

Truth? I've got performance anxiety, a little bit - my recipient's letter is elaborate and graphically pleasing to the eye. But I've got an idea, so maybe it will be alright?

Oh, so, yeah… I can see why that might be. My recipient has no letter that I can see, link to a locked journal, but AO3 reveal they're a very long-time Yuletider. I hope there might be an as-of-yet unrevealed letter somewhere. Optional details on the sign-up were… well, there were one line on most of them, none on the one I matched on. So some nerves here too.

Well. Let's hope they've just forgotten to unlock their letter - the assignments did go out earlier than scheduled. If not, well, did they at least pick a character? Or maybe you'll have the pleasure of writing just what you want? (Mind you, personally, I'd hate not even a line of details - I play Yuletide to be challenged to write what I wouldn't otherwise - so you have my sincerest sympathies).

Yeah, that's true about the timing. The link doesn't go to an entry, though, just to the journal. I hope it's just a matter of getting it unlocked. For most prompts, there aren't characters either, incl. mine. (But it's a fandom with a very limited no. of characters, so that's kind of ok.) I'll hope for some kind of details somewhere. Might comment on their "comment to be friended" entry in anon if all else fails and ask if there's a place to find more or someone to bother with questions.
