All the things you notice second time around - like the fact that apparently, Earl Bjarni - Thyri's husband, the guy Siggy killed - was a cousin of King Horik. King Horik who has sent Ragnar on a mission that seems to inevitably end in violence. Hmmm.
Also, Lagertha talking about the burned farm and dead livestock still seems incredibly callous to me - because either she's simply not bothering to mention the people killed or they, being mere slaves and freedmen (as I think they are), get included in the dead livestock. Ah well.
