Why are queer movies always issue moves? And frankly, this one - the main character was an asshole, cheating on his pregnant girlfriend and just... Go away.

102. The Lego Movie
Everything is awesome.

103. Mockingjay part 1.
You know what strikes me? How tiny this world - the land of Panem - is. Gale talks about District 12 containing 10.000 people before Capitol's attack. That's - really not a lot. If all the districts are like that and Panem is really supposed to be basically the geographic area of the US - I just want to know what the hell happened?!

It was okay.

105. Tidsrejsen
I'll pretend the last couple of minutes of this didn't happen, and occasionally it borrowed perhaps a tad too much from Back to the Future - but all in all? A good Danish science fiction show? :-)

106. Far til fire i byen
Watched for a given value ie. it was running in the background on Christmas Eve.

I think I would have loved this as a kid. As it is, I liked it - but I think I would have loved it.

Not as exciting as I'd hoped. Though I liked the airships.

Since nobody seemed like they were going to abduct me and make me watch it, I had to take matters into my own hands...

111. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
Did anybody else feel like this had gotten mixed with a 1½ hour commercial for Warhammer? And having Smaug die in the first ten minutes and the rest of the movie having an orc upstage the dragon as villain? And somebody thought oh, let's find a way to give each and every character in the francise five seconds minimum? Anyway, Thorin's madness was sad, but well done, and now somebody needs to point me at some good Thorin and Bilbo are reunited in the west fanfic. Yes?

It's a lovely movie. And a lovely musical. Have you seen the musical?

Nej, og jeg var lige ved at tro, at jeg måske skulle se den på Det Ny teater - men på dansk? Nej.

På engelsk er den fantastisk. Og jeg tror nok den er kommet på dvd? Hvilket selvfølgelig ikke er det samme som at sidde og se den i et teater, men alligevel.

Hvis jeg så bare kunne holde op med at være overbevist om at Fascination burde dukke op i løbet af musicalen...

Re: the Hobbit. Yeah, I was pretty meh about this one, as well. Too much pointless action. Although it did kind of make me ship Gandalf/Galadriel (as did the previous ones).

I think only elves get sent to Valinor when they die? Humans and dwarves go beyond the world and the Valar don't know what happens to them, only Ilúvatar. /Tolkien geek

I thought the dwarves believed that they went to a special part of the Halls of Mandos? Maybe? Not that I remember for certain, it's been ages since I read even just LotR, but I could have sworn remembering something about the dwarves getting their own section because they're not part of Iluvatar's original plans or something.

Hmm, yeah, you're right. Or rather, the elves believe that the dwarves just return to the earth, but they believe that they get separate halls at Mandos. The book doesn't say which is true. But anyway, Bilbo would not go there. Although I am sure fic could find a way around that. : )

Well, Bilbo does go west. And once he's had a bit of time to recover from old age and ringbearerness, I'm sure he'd find a way to go on a new adventure. And sneak into places. With dwarves. Just because.

No, I am not feeling an urge to read happy make-all-things-better Bilbo/Thorin fic, whatever gave you that idea?
