Books

Sebastiá Alzamora: Crim de sang
From the description on the back, I would have expected more vampires and less war crimes. Though the Frankenstein monster horse was kinda cool.

Mattias Boström: Från Holmes till Sherlock
Interesting. Maybe not riveting, but interesting - especially the chapters dealing with the growing fan culture after Conan Doyle's death and how his heirs did their level best to kill the fandom :-( Also, some day I really should down and just watch the tv show, right? Or maybe the Russian tv show? Or both (though maybe not the same year, or I might get a Sherlock overload...)

Tobias Bukkehave: 50 tv-serier du skal se
A bit American-centric - there's a handfull of Danish series, a couple of British and a Canadian - the rest is pure US. Not that they are bad series, it's just a bit - uninventive?

Jim Butcher: Skin Game
I rather like the Dresden Files' version of Hades. And I was delighted to see Michael Carpenter back in action, even if it was just for a bit - though I'm unconvinced of Butters as a knight, but we'll see, I suppose.

Kim Hjardar & Vegard Vike: Vikinger i krig

Islændingesagaerne 1.
I think I'm going to have to space these things out. And my, there are a hell of a lot of kennings essentially meaning somebody killed somebody. And poetry was primarily an excuse to be really, really snarky. Making Anders in Almighty Johnsons a bit more logical, actually. Anyway, the stories are good - there was one of the tots (is that the english word?) that I swear reads like it's about an autistic viking, which I hadn't read about, and the long sagas was mostly either skalds (being snarky and killing people and everybody suing everybody like they were part American or something) and the Greenland stories.

Steen Langstrup: Katrine
I could have lived a long and happy life without the surprise!psycholesbian plottwist...

Peter Schledermann: Raven's Saga: An Arctic Odyssey

Comics

Luc Brunschwig: Holmes (1854-1891?): L'adieu à Baker Street
I seem to be in a Sherlock Holmes fase - mind you, this is a fine start to a comic series and I'm looking forward to more. Dark and grey-toned and following John Watson a few months after Sherlock Holmes' death ending up investigating whether it was a suicide, did Moriarty even exist, what the hell is going on? Basically...

Erik Svane: Daisy: en prinsesse i Danmark
I'll freely admit that this one ended up on my to-read list purely because I went: "Wait! Somebody made a comic about that?!"
