So, I just finished adding all the books I read last year to my Goodreads.

It disagrees a bit with my own count, which is 193, but that's mostly because I counted "Atter det skilte" as two books (well, it was published as two), and because whoever added the new Islændingesagaerne translation added the whole bloody 5 volume work as one book, and since I've only read the first so far (they are bloody long books, okay?), I ended up adding it as "currently reading" - we'll see how long it'll stay there.

And we're not talking about how many of these I had to add to Goodreads myself. Or about how apparently there's a publisher who uses the same ISBN for the Swedish and Danish versions of a specific comic book series. Which is just wrong, wrong, wrong. Ahem.

Sweden also has a new translation of Islänningasagorna, I guess that is not a coincidence? I've been meaning to read a bit of it, though not the whole thing.

Apparently, it's an Icelandic publisher that's organized the first complete translation for all three Scandinavian countries. And I do intend to read the whole thing, just - they're pretty big books individually, so. I really should make an ILL request for the second (I would love to own them, but even for Danish books, they're very expensive).
