I should really post more over here.

Well, what's new with me? Nothing much. Reading books, going to a movie quiz and failing miserably at wunning (well, we did okay for a couple of the rounds, but the last one killed us dead and last - meh, I still live on the fumes of the time we won on the Edgar Allan Poe themed night, ½ point ahead of the Danish Poe society team, so there - and that reminds me, btw, that some of us have talked a lot about offering to be quiz masters in one of the fall rounds), buying tickets for the opening of Civil War on the 27th. Slowly beginning to look forward to next week's important holiday.

I'm still watching Vikings - season four is - less thrilling than the first three, and not just because Athelstan is dead and only occasionally hallucinated into being/haunted kings. I miss him, but really - the writing is getting lazier, and of course, last week Hirst joined the general female characters massacre that seem to be going on, killing his only poc character and Kwenthrith, poor, fucked up, awesome Kwenthrith. I liked Kwenthrith. In general, I'm just - it doesn't feel like the show I feel so very hard for anymore. I miss that show.

Speaking of Vikings, remind me to figure out how Comixology works this weekend or the next. There's a tie-in comic series starting - actually, on the 27th, which is vaguely annoying, but I'll juggle the stuff.

Anyway, I've been watching a couple of new shows - DC shows both, actually.

One is Lucifer, which is - could be better, and has taken only a very little from the comics, but I'm entertained (and I'm back to my original theory that Chloe is the daughter of Michael, assuming the show will take anything other than Lucifer having quit and is now running a nightclub with the help of Mazikeen).

And then there's DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which is - maybe not great art, but I've grown to appreciate it. It's a bunch of superheroes gathered by a rogue time master (and if that wasn't enough to get you thinking Doctor Who, he's played by Rory Pond) to save the future from Vandal Savage. Cue jumping around in time - so far there's been the 1970s, Soviet Russia, the future, the wild west - and okay character dynamics. Mostly involving one of the token villains on the team, Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold who is feeding my kink for "the monster who decides that he bloody well likes these people" a bit, and is played by Wentworth Miller of Prison Break fame (which he is apparently making new episodes for?), and I might possibly be watching The Flash just to see his episodes...

Pity both those series only have a couple of episodes left, though at least Legends are renewed. Everything is ending, as it always does in the spring - and I can't even look forward to Sense8 during the summer, since they're still filming... :-(

If I were watching anything I'd definitely still be watching LoT.

I am not sure I want more PB unless it's an AU that cancels out the ending.

I somehow still believed I would get to watch more Sense8 this year, but I guess not.
