DC arrowverse

John Constantine/Mick Rory

I remain deeply disappointed that all the antagonism in last season of Legends between these two didn't lead to a scene with a half-dressed John exiting Mick's room. (Okay, not really, not all things need to be canon, but maybe a little). Anyway – I would quite like that story – John and Mick flirting in ways that everybody else interprets as hostility (and inconveniently cockblocking them at every turn out of good intentions), John and Mick maybe stranding somewhere in time and having to work together leads from genuine mutual not-liking-each-other-very-much to UST to resolving said UST to being rescued to now what? I like Mick being a fairly straightforward sort of arsonist supervillain romance novelist, and I like John to be his traditional far-too-sneaky self. Alternatively, I'd like a story with the two of them somehow meeting earlier – perhaps a certain master of the dark arts with a penchant for collecting magic items need some help from professional thieves? Or an arsonist needs a sorcerer to fix this really annoying curse he got stuck with? Or Mick might have thought a water mill sounded like a good place to lay low, clearly nobody's using it these days (John obviously has magical defences against burglary.) Or maybe they both end up in some situation that requires them to work together to escape?

John Constantine/Leonard Snart/Mick Rory

All of the above + Len. One big request for this one: Mick and John working together to bring Len Snart the original version back – maybe to life (seriously, DNA fragment + clone tech + Lazarus pit), maybe as a ghost that might or might not happen to possess people. Possibly a ghost taking to possessing this particular master of the dark arts and not agreeing to let him go or be exorcised until he gets him back to his inconveniently time travelling partner. Or perhaps they all three meet pre-canon? Maybe while trying to steal the same macguffin?

Books of the Raksura

Moon
Moon & Stone

Ah, who doesn't enjoy some creative fantasy novels featuring shapeshifting not-quite-actually-dragons? For this canon, I'd rather like a story exploring even more of the world of the Raksura. Maybe have the characters encounter a new shapeshifter species that isn't related to either Raksura or Fell? Perhaps something birdlike or maybe a type of waterling or something feline? Have them go on a quest to acquire - something? Have Moon accidentally adopting a lost groundling wandering into the Reaches? Have the reaches be visited by strange, new, more steampunky visitors? Or strangely familiar aliens (really, the universe this is set in feels very planetary romance to me more than usual fantasy worldbuilding – probably the utter absence of humans in the setting). Or – perhaps a role reversal AU, where Moon lives quite a bit longer as a loner and Stone is perhaps a tad younger than in canon and can't quite comprehend where this fucking line grandfather sized consort has been hiding and how to talk him into coming back for – whatever reasons the Indigo Cloud court needs a line grandfather present for. Or just an AU where Moon was living happily with somebody who didn't mistake him for a Fell and try to murder him, and then along comes Stone. Or possibly the AU where Moon got found and raised in his birth court, except he's still fairly eccentric by consort standards, because his mother is, well – a little eccentric and extremely formidable queen.

Crossovers

Mick Rory & Jessica Fletcher

I must admit, I've been wanting Mick to meet Jessica basically since Legends of Tomorrow made him a published author. I mean, when you think about it, they have so much in common: both started publishing fairly late in life, having retired from another career and having lost someone important to them. They are both instant successes, yet write genre fiction that the literary elite will scorn. I'd love to see them both at the same book convention as writers, though I suspect Jessica would be quite old by the time Rebecca Silver starts visiting cons. Or Mick somehow (*cough* time travel canon *cough *) ending up in Cabot Cove during her prime (other legends welcome, but entirely optional) – and probably ending up the prime suspect of a murder, because Cabot Cove. Or this could be a story set before the Arrowverse canon starts, involving, well – Mick meeting Jessica and having her figure out that the big scary arsonist did not in fact do – whatever he's being accused of. Or possibly figuring out that he did, because, well – arsonist, thief, robber, sometimes killer. Or maybe something tying Jessica to the current Loom of Fate plotline? I mean, the fan theory of Jessica Fletcher, secret serial murderer is a bit much, but maybe Jessica is secretly Atropos, who cuts the thread of life.

Mick Rory & Hob Gadling

To be honest, I very nearly nominated this as ”Any Legend & Hob”, then decided that no, I like some legends more than others. But they are all quite welcome to show up, as is Len Snart, of course. The same goes for any other Sandman characters that you'd like to include – Morpheus himself? Emperor Norton? The Corinthian? Desire? As for specific prompts – well, Mick does seem to have a knack for finding drinking buddies wherever he goes. Maybe even stumbling into one of the free houses? That said – I really, really want a story where Hob notices this person (or people) popping up in different times, not changing or occasionally changing in reverse chronological order, and getting curious. A friendship where only one character at a time realizes that it's a friendship, perhaps? Or Mick starts noticing this guy that never seems to age, and, well – he's got experience with strange types who don't age, and it ain't good experience. Or maybe Hob has something plot relevant (did Charlie hide a bit of Loom with him?) and Mick goes to steal it and gets interrupted? But really – the immortal and the time traveller – there are stories to be told here. Or maybe Mick is on an Orpheus-like quest to get Len back, damnit, and Hob becomes his more or less willing companion/guide/this is a really bad idea my friend? (Also, I nominated them as &, but honestly, I'd be equally happy with a Mick/Hob story, if that's something you feel like writing.)

Leonard Snart & Scrooge McDuck

Yes, I know it's going to be crack. I expect crack. By the by, for crack, personally, it works best for me when the cracky concept is played totally straight by the story. Also, that & should probably have been a vs., considering the characters involved. So – I must admit, I mostly imagine this as Len somehow ending up in Duckburg – body horror temporary duckification entirely optional – and, well, I can't imagine Len Snart learning about the money bin and not wanting to rob it. How did he get there? Does he turn into a duck or does everybody else walking around keep not being able to figure out what sort of animal he is? Is he alone? With the Legends, with Mick (+ other rogues?)? Does he team up with local criminals, like the Beagle Boys? Or does Magica hire him (possibly by way of summoning spell) to steal a certain coin, promising a magical return to his own world after? Does he run afowl of Paperinik (one of my favourite characters from the comics) in the process of supervillaining? Or does he end up teaming up with Scrooge? Perhaps on one of those endless adventures of going all sorts of places to acquire treasure? (What's left to acquire at this stage?) Or does Scrooge, in a moral low point, hire Len to steal, say, a certain book containing the entire Library of Alexandria?

Crossover specific DNW: characters, events, characterizations or any other canon originating in the animated shows. Not one word against any of them, I'm just aware that the classic Disney comics of Barks, Rosa and many, many other creators have always been a bigger thing outside the US than inside, so to avoid any confusion: the shows are not the canon I am looking for. Also, DNW Mickey or the rest of that side of the comics verse. Just ducks, please.

Leonard Snart/Diana Prince

A cold-hearted, sneaky master thief and supervillain. A kind, amazing superhero who in her civilian identity works at the Louvre, and who can kick said thief's ass with one hand tied to her back. So, yeah, maybe the ship is a little cracky, but I really like the idea of these two. Partly because I like both of them as characters, these particular incarnations, and because yes, I do think it could work. Maybe. There'd definitely be some challenges. But really, we've got Diana – and by the time Len is even born, her known love interest will have been dead for decades – maybe finding a sneaky thief or two stealing the work she'd been busy restoring. Or maybe it's a more traditional meeting of superhero vs. supervillain? Or an all hands on deck situation featuring aliens or alternate universe people invading (again?!)? Maybe Len getting blown up by the Oculus was more of a hurled through time and space and landing on a certain mysteriously hidden island? Maybe they meet and start to date in the 21st century or have been married for decades? Maybe Diana is displeased with her boytoy dying and sets forth on an Orpheus style chase to get him back? Or maybe Diana, being related to the Greek gods of old, is asked by somebody to fetch a certain dead thief back for reasons and playing out a more succesful Orpheus-and-Eurydice storyline leads to bonding?

Original works

Male viking displaced to the present from his proper time/Male supervillain

Okay, so the time travel trope of people from the past somehow ending up in the present is a favourite of mine. Temporal culture shock is a thing of beauty. And I kinda like supervillains, and hey, a universe that features a supervillain probably has convenient handwavey excuses for a viking to be wandering around the 21st century. As for prompts – I mean, vikings – especially actual vikings and not just the old Norse – weren't exactly the nicest folk – is he supervillains newest ally? Is said viking not really viking-as-a-profession and supervillain is just pretending to be his friend? Does viking want to go home or stay in these interesting times? Does supervillain want to conquer the world or maybe just Istanbul to give his new ex-Varangian guard as a wedding gift? Did some good guy sorcerer just accidentally summon viking because of a need for someone who reads runes and then things went pearshaped and now viking has trust issues when it comes to alleged good guys?

Male dragon/Male vampire

So – how does two such different creatures end up together? Did an injured vampire hide next to a dragon lair to opportunistically drink the blood of way to chivalrous knights as he regained his strength? Or is the part where they are alike – the extremely long life-span – that brings it about? Or does one or both of them start out as something else and end up turning into a vampire and/or dragon in order to stick around? It could be a story set in a purely fantasy world, or perhaps something in a version of the real world, having the dragon and the vampire meet and part and meet again across centuries or millennia?

Male superhero/Male token evil teammate supervillain

I really do like when evil characters team up with the good guys. Maybe there's an alien invasion, maybe they are promised just the right pay – whatever. Just – the bad guy playing mostly-nicely along on an otherwise good team, at least for now. And on top of that, I do like enemies-to-lovers, so – why is the token evil teammate on the team? Is it his ”superhero” or another one? Tell me all.
