because I am reading news on-line.
Among the Danish news are such fascinating pieces as the fact, that the snow has manage to delay the mail (again), some scientists cannot get enough big lice, Danish soldiers on peacekeeping missions abroad are asked (though not ordered) to not visit prostitutes in their free time and windmills placed in the sea are not bad for the environment. All very fascinating.
Also a ship has managed to sail into the Storebælt bridge. Considering the fact that it is one of the largest bridges in the world, you would think that they could have seen it coming...
And finally, the latest chapter in "the lamentable and cautionary tale of Farum" has Farum being forced to "marry" Værløse (apparently forced marriages are only unacceptable when humans are involved - kommuner does not seem to enjoy the same rights), to allow both kommuner to fulfil the minimum demands of the kommune reform. Not surprisingly, Værløse is not exactly pleased with having to merge with a kommune with a 3 billion kroner (about ½ billion dollars) debt - Farum, on the other hand, seems delighted with the arrangement...
