I wonder what the people who invented Store Bededag would say, if they knew their fine holiday was going to end up as en excuse for a long weekend and everybody eating warm hveder thursday night?

Nevermind, I don´t really care - why should I, when I am going to be eating warm hveder with - with jam, I think - soon?

Well, technically, they are just a kind of buns, I suppose - eaten warm with butter and jam (and made of wheat - hence the name). It's just that this particular kind of bun is only eaten once a year, on the evening before Store Bededag, so I suppose that makes them taste better somehow - otherwise they are not so terribly unusual (apart from for some reason being square).
