Hmm. So, I have recently joined the largest cinema club in Denmark - Biozonen. Now, that means I can participate in events and competitions they arrange, but not all of them. Some of them are only for VIP members - and so far I have noticed a tendency for the more interesting ones to be of this kind. So, I need to become a VIP member. Fortunately this is not particularly hard - you just have to see 5 movies within 110 days in some of Nordisk Film's cinemas. Hardly an unsurmountable task.

Now, I suppose I could start tomorrow and go see Kingdom of Heaven, but truth be told I am not sure if I really care to see that, so let's see, what do I want to see, and can I keep it within the time frame? Hmmm...

1. day: 13. May: The wedding date (meaning this has its Danish premiere on this day, and I might very well go - mmm, Jack Davenport).
24. day: 3. June: Sin City.
24. day: 3. June: War of the Worlds (according to Biozonen's homepage, another says its the 29. June - either will work, though).
73. day: 22. July: Batman begins (maybe - will wait and watch the reviews).
87. day: 5. August: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
94. day: 12. August: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
and then there is a smattering of movies that might be interesting...

Hmm, looks like I'm going to make it. Of course, the premiere dates might easily change - am especially worried about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, since the last two Johnny Depp movies to hit Danish cinemas both started out being announced early and then didn't premiere until several months later. If worst comes to worst, I might just go see Kingdom of Heaven after all...

They're all good choices - I think I want to see all them too.
Are you not keen to see KOH?

Well, no, not exactly keen. Trouble is that the only things I have heard about it is: Crusades and Orlando Bloom as a blacksmith turned knight (and what is it about him and blacksmiths anyway?). And the bits of trailer I have seen have mainly been glimpses of battle scenes, so I haven't really gotten any proper impression of it.

OMG! You get to see "The Wedding Date"!!! Want, too!!!
I'm definitely planning to watch "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". And I'm sure "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" is interesting, too!

Well, I suppose I could invite you along, but surely it's coming to Germany too at some point?

Wouldn't be too sure of that... We don't even get the complete version of the "Alexander" DVD...
