I can drive! I can drive! (yes, I know I've already done one post saying that, but until the novelty wears off, you'll have to expect a similar one about once a week - coinciding with my lessons :-))

Oh, and guess what I found in the mailbox today? A postcard. A postcard with a picture of a pretty ship. Thank you, hils and drbillbongo , thank you very much :-)

Hey, I got my first driving license in 1999, the second three months ago, but the novelty hasn't worn off yet. Every time I drive somewhere, I'm, like, "wow, is it really me driving?" :)

Only one, if it's valid. I got one in California in 1999, but it was for automatic. So I sort of forgot about it, and it expired eventually. This year I got a normal European driving license that I'm planning on keeping and using. :)

When will you have your driver's test?
Well, let's see - unless my driving instructor thinks I need extra lessons, I expect to take the theory test some time in november. And once that is passed, there is a wait for about four weeks for the practical driver's test, because the police are seriously overworked... Hopefully I'll have my license before the snow comes.
