Seriously, how did they expect me to wind up, when Danish television (once they finally got around to having channels with commercials, which I remember from my early childhood was actually the interesting part of TV2) and Danish producers of colas was busily corrupting everybody with commercials like this. (which for inexplicable reasons are only available in German, which mostly corresponds to the original Danish version) and its sequel.
I have something under the table that you can't resist.
It's 27,8 cm long.
You don't know what you're missing.
I have two ripe pieces of fruit...
... that you can't resist.
(I'm translating based on the original Danish as I remember it (which might not be 100% accurate - it's an old commercial, practically stone age), not the German...)

I seriously can't help giggling every time I walk past a store that's having a slutspurt.

But OMG, would you believe me if I said that during my stay in Hamburg a few weeks ago I saw Spunk in a shop? O_O I thought I'd die laughing. Of course I bought it. I don't really like it because I've never liked that sort of dark candy (I don't know what it's called in English, we Germans call it "Lakritz"), but I've given it a special place in my flat nevertheless. XDDDDDD

I think the English word is licorice. Up here in Denmark we say "lakrids". Between you and me, it's not really my thing either - I tend to go for the winegum Spunk if I buy it. Very un-Danish of me, actually. Still, it's a shame I don't like licorice, really - after all, if I did, I could be eating something called "Piratos"...

Ah - licorice. Yep. That's the word I was looking for. I'm glad Spunk have sweet winegums, too! They didn't have them in the shop, though, otherwise I'd have bought those.

That's indeed a shame! Have you tried them already?
